Decode Your Patterns
&
Start Healing.
The therapeutic guide designed to retrain your brain and
break the cycle of automatic nail biting.
In a hurry? The Summary:
- The Problem: Tired of the shame and frustration? It’s not your fault and not a lack of willpower. Your habit is an automatic, unconscious Body-Focused Repetitive Behavior (BFRB).
- The "AHA" Moment: Science shows traditional methods (willpower, bitter polish) fail because they treat the symptom. The secret lies in a proven, science-backed method.
- The Key to Change: To stop an automatic habit, you must make it conscious. The crucial first step is Awareness Training—learning to spot the habit at its earliest possible stage (e.g., the hand starting to rise) before the biting even begins.
- Your Next Move: Download the free Habit Diary now. It’s the non-negotiable tool you need to uncover your unique patterns and finally gain control.

Why Willpower Isn't Enough
You aren't dealing with a simple bad habit. You are dealing with a Body-Focused Repetitive Behavior (BFRB).
It’s Biological:
Research shows this behavior is often genetic and acts as an unconscious way for your brain to regulate your nervous system when you are stressed, bored or when you need to feel in control.
It’s Hardwired:
Years of biting have created a deep neural pathway in your brain. It has become your brain's "go-to" specifically for quick relief.
Making a promise to stop doesn't erase that neural pathway. That is why "just stopping" feels impossible—you are fighting your own biology. We have to retrain your brain to find a new path.
What is inside?
Practical tools, not just theory.
Pattern Breaking
You will move from simply "knowing" your triggers (via the Diary) to actively dismantling the loop so you can finally feel in control.
Competing Response
Learn the scientifically proven method to "decouple" the habit. Replace automatic biting with a specific, harmless action that prevents behavior.
Visualization
You will learn how to focus your attention and use your imagination to "rehearse" your new, bite-free life, strengthening your self-image.
The Relaxation Audio Guide
Stress is a major trigger. That is why I have included a guided audio recording of the powerful relaxation technique developed by Dr. Herbert Benson at Harvard. You don't need to memorize the steps—just press play.
Who is this guide for?
This guide is designed to treat the habit, not the person.
While nail biting is often a standalone habit or a response to everyday stress, it can sometimes be a symptom of deeper underlying issues.
This Guide IS for you if:
You are frustrated by an automatic habit that you want to stop, and you are looking for a practical, strategic approach to retraining your brain.
This Guide is NOT a replacement for therapy:
If your nail biting is linked to severe anxiety, depression, PTSD, or other mental health conditions, this guide can be a helpful tool, but it should not be your only support. In these cases, I strongly recommend working with a mental health professional alongside this program.

Hi, I'm Katarina.
Certified Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapist & Habit Specialist
I created this guide because I saw a massive gap in how we treat this habit.
It started with two close friends of mine. To the world, they were successful professionals managing high levels of responsibility. But in private, they carried a heavy burden of shame about their habit. They weren’t "weak"—they just lacked the right tool to break an automatic loop.
My realization that while there is plenty of advice on "willpower," there was almost no access to clinical, evidence-based strategies for those who couldn't afford private therapy. I scoured YouTube channels and support groups, and I saw thousands of people asking for help, only to be met with silence or techniques that do not work for them.
I took the specific Habit Reversal Training and Cognitive Behavioural techniques I use in my practice and condensed them into a system that provides you with science based strategy to get your nail biting under control.
